Happy Friday!

This week was short for me.  Since I work at a daycare center, I’m off today and was off yesterday for Thanksgiving.  Today I’ll be shopping til I drop.  I want to talk about Black Friday in this post…

Black Friday

I’ve always gone Black Friday shopping.  I think it’s because I love shopping and Christmas shopping is so exciting for me.  I don’t think I’m over-commercial.  I’m all about the *true meaning of Christmas*.  And I don’t go over board.  I don’t get up crazy early, I DEFINITELY DO NOT START ON THANKSGIVING DAY(!), and I don’t fight with others to get the last Tickle-me-Elmo (are those still the hot item?!  No … no I knew that.  Ha!)  It’s going to be a Girls’ Day!  My mom, my sister, Cupcakes and myself – at the mall!  How fun is that?!  We’re going to grab lunch in the middle and struggle to get Cupcakes to sleep in her stroller (haha!).  I mean, we all get our families Christmas gifts right?  We might as well have a blast doing it!  Who’s with me?!

About the “Deals”

I’m a bit skeptical this year.  I haven’t seen too many good deals.  I think the stores just mark stuff down from a way-too-high original price.  I know that they do that every other day of the year, but I always thought Black Friday was different. Now I’m not so sure… I might be a Black Friday sucker.  So I’m going to be really smart about my purchases today.
